PCOS to Pregnancy: Focusing on Babies in need of prayer!

I've decided to take a break from this week's PCOS to Pregnancy series. I'm in the midst of the "two week wait" and I don't really have anything to update you with at this time. I wanted to take this time to introduce you to some amazing families that are in desperate need of prayer for their babies!

Matthew is the 3rd child of dear friends of mine. He was born in May and appeared to be healthy. Then just before he was to be discharged from the hospital things went terribly wrong. Matthew was transferred to PICU and received several rounds of dialysis. The ammonia levels in his blood built up dangerously high levels. He was diagnosed with an extremely rare disorder Ornithine Transcarbamylase Deficiency (OTCD). After spending 6 weeks in the PICU, Matthew was able to come home.  He is currently awaiting a liver transplant. You can read more about Matthew on his Facebook page.

Brooks is the 8th little boy born to the Dillard family. He was born in April. There were some complications during pregnancy and Brooks has had struggles since birth. He has a Double Aortic Arch and Tracheomalacia. Brooks recently underwent two surgeries, including open heart surgery, and continues to have complications. He is still in the hospital and the Dillard Family is currently researching transferring Brooks to a hospital that specializes in tracheal conditions.  You can read more about Brooks on his Facebook page.

Kaden is the son of blogger Diana Stone. Kaden was born full term just a couple weeks ago. While in the hospital, Kaden began having complications. His heart isn't pumping blood to the lower ventricles of his body. He is currently diagnosed with heart failure and needs a heart transplant. If you haven't followed Diana's blog in the past, you should know that just around a year ago, she lost her twins while 19 weeks pregnant. She has been through so much.

I ask that you please join in me prayers for these dear babies. I can't imagine the heartache these parents are going through. It was just a few short months ago that my sweet niece Rosalie was born and passed away a mere 4 hours later due to Trisomy 18. No one wants to see their child suffer.

I'm Jenny, the mama behind the blog Cloth Diaper Revival.   I'm a stay at home mom to Noah and a wife to Chas, the cloth diapering dad.  I used to be a 3rd grade teacher until I was blessed with the birth of my first child, Noah. I'm currently trying to conceive my second child while struggling with infertility due to PCOS. This series covers my journey and my experiences along the way.
