Cloth Diapers for Chunky Babies

When I first started cloth diapering, I was a little hesitant on what brand to buy. I wanted a diaper that could last from babyhood up until toodlerhood. This means finding a diaper that will accompany your baby through all their “chubby” stages.
I started out with a few fitted diapers that were suppose to “fit” her size, but they were either too small or too short, and the next size was too big. That is when I turned to the One Size diapers. I love that they fit baby anywhere from birth all the way to potty training stage. My favorite one size diapers to use for my little chunky monkey is the Bum Genius and the Thirsties OS brands!

Not only are these two brands my favorite, and easy to use, but they are also well known and easy to find in just about every online store!
I love how the Thirsties provides the choice of snaps or Velcro and it allows for a nice trim fit around baby’s chunky thighs and belly. The elastic also allows for a nice smooth stretch.

The Bum Genius is another brand that is perfect for our chunkier ones. I love how it provides enough stretch to cover all the essential parts and has nice leg gussets to keep all messes contained!

I will continue to use these main brands for my future children, because they do allow for that perfect fit, and they are made for babies of any size.

Authors Bio:
My name is Ashley, but I like to use my first and middle name Ashley Suzanne, for all my online purposes, since I am still waiting on Mr. Right to come along and change my last name. I am a 21 year old pre-nursing student, and I am still living at home with my parents, I refuse to live alone! I dream about my future family along with cloth diapering, homeschooling, and raising my children in God’s amazing love and grace. Even though I am not a biological mother yet, I still consider myself a mother hen to all the little ones, and bigger ones that come in and out of my life. God has truly given me a passion for nurturing. In my free time I enjoy blogging, collecting baby items, reviewing items, entering giveaways, schooling, and reading. I love that there are things I can focus on and learn at this time now, so that whenever I am blessed with my own little family then I can truly be the wife and mother that God has planned for me to be.
