Trophy Tuesday - BumGenius Elementals - *closed*

Today's Trophy Tuesday product spotlight is BumGenius Elementals

Can I say right off how much I love this diaper?  It's one of our favorites and always one of the first I reach for.

It has all the qualities you could ask for...soft organic cotton against the skin, One Size, and All-in-one!

Wash, dry, wear, repeat.

It's as easy as that.

Our son is currently 21 pounds and 27 inches long.  The BumGenius Elemental fits him beautifully and never leaks.  It's plenty absorbent for daytime use and he can even wear them overnight with a Just-Hemp insert added on top.

The Elemental is a true all-in-one, meaning there are no separate soakers to keep track of, no pockets to stuff, all of the absorbency is sewn into the diaper in one neat package.
These diapers also fit my son pretty well right from birth.  They were one of the first one size diapers that really did fit him nicely and definitely the first aio one size to fit.

Ew, don't mind the poo stain!
This is the BumGenius Elemental One Size when our son was about 2-3 weeks old, around 10 pounds.

*I did not receive any compensation for this review.  The diaper was purchased at Cloth Diaper Outlet.

One lucky winner will be chosen at random to receive:  *CLOSED*

I would love to see how posts about cloth diapering outside of the home, like at church nursery, on trips, at the grandparents. Ways to make it work.

An entry on making baby food would be great! We all know that introducing food changes what comes out in the diapers, so it's all related!

I'd like to learn about stay dry liners and if they are used in prefolds. Also, are they the same thing one should use with rash creams to protect diapers. Finally, where do you wash your 'creamed' liners. There wouldn't be enough for a load of laundry and you're not supposed to was them with your CDs.

I'd love a blog post with stories about all the funny comments people make when they hear you want to cloth diaper! I'm hearing quite a few, and I don't even have my baby to diaper yet! (Only a few more weeks...)

Future blog topic: transitioning from disposable to cloth.

How to get started, what are the first essentials to purchase? How to get caretakers on board in the easiest way. Etc.

Idea for blog: "How your family feels about your cloth diapers...."

I have two little ones in diapers and would love a good review of the best one size diapers. Laparks82@yahoo.com

Not to sure if this has been talked about, but maybe a goood topic would be how to let your older baby know/explain that a new baby is coming?? Not to sure if that's even a good idea hehe. I follow GFC! AlishaS

We switched to cloth diapers when my son started having a bad reaction to pampers. I would love to see some kind of discussion about what is in paper diapers...Chemicals exc. and the possible side effects.

Cloth diapering has so many choices now that it can be so overwhelming for a new-be, so maybe break it down in to the cheap way to do it and not get frustrated (no pre folds with pins and rubber pants), the most convenient way (AIO), the at home vs the on the go stash...

I would like to see a blog post about enzymes in detergent. Some cloth diaper manufacturers say "no enzymes" and others insist that a detergent have enzymes. Is is possible for them to hurt my diapers? I switched to a detergent with enzymes because my diapers just weren't getting clean. The new detergent does a great job, the diapers are amazingly clean... but, within a short period of time two diapers with all-natural fabric inners (Bottombumpers and GroVia) both ended up with a hole in the inner fabric. Could this be a coincidence? They were probably only washed once or twice in detergent with enzymes...
